Proclaim is an all outdoor event held on a 4th generation family farm in a picturesque valley nestled in the rolling Loess hills in western Iowa. Far from being a random fairgrounds, this land is prayerfully stewarded for redemption by Fritz and Terri Johnk. Whether you’ve watched the sunrise or received a new song from the overlook of “The Bench” (a beloved meditative spot of many), or been refreshed by the wind of the Ruach under its breezy trees, it’s hard to miss the Lord’s blessing on the Johnk’s humble endeavor of redeeming the land, gathering His people, and hosting His presence.
This beautiful farm is located at 2937 County Rd. D25 in Hornick, IA.
Camping FAQ

RV sites are a 20’ x 40’ space. We offer both electric and non-electric RV sites. All electric RV sites come with 20A.
Tent sites are grassy areas of 20’ x 20’. A handful of sites are 15’ x 20’. Both electric and non-electric sites are available. One tent per site please.

There are no designated quiet hours at night in the main campground.
If you prefer a quiet area to camp, we suggest reserving a site in Aronia Escape or Beautiful Meadow. These camping areas are beyond the parking lot within walking distance from the main camping area and are primitive campsites only.

Per request of our hosts, we have a no-pets policy. Please do not bring pets, especially dogs, onsite.

There will be portable bathrooms and outdoor showers available. Potable water will be available for all guests, as well as outdoor sinks to clean dishes.

Check-in begins at noon on Wednesday and check-out ends at noon on Monday.
We ask that you arrive between the hours of 10a-8p so we can check you in and get you situated in the correct campsite. If you plan to arrive after hours, click here to find some campgrounds nearby to spend the night.Check-in begins at noon on Wednesday. Check-out ends at noon on Monday.

Vehicles may only be parked in designated parking areas. We do not allow vehicles in the tent camping area to ensure safety for all the children. RV spots are usually not large enough to hold a camper and another vehicle.

Unless there is a fire ban, campfires are allowed, but should be contained inside fire rings. We have a few, but feel free to bring one as well. We often have firewood available by donation but cannot guarantee enough for all campfires; we recommend you bring your own.

Please come with a water tank already filled. Because of the drought, we want to preserve water where we can. You can fill up your water tank nearby at Peters Park for a donation. Just leave your donation at the camping kiosk in the iron ranger mailbox. Or go to Southwood Reservation Area to fill up your water tank for $5.

We do not have a dump station on site. Sorry for any inconvenience.

As long as both fit within the campsite of 20’×40’, you are welcome to. However, be aware all the RV sites are located in the alfalfa field which is very stubbly and not ideal for tents at all.
